About Deborah

Deborah Franklin was born in Richmond, Virginia. She is an educator, author and consultant. In 1993, she graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Media Arts from Hampton University.

Franklin continued her education and obtained her Master of Education degree from Liberty University with a specialization in Supervision and Administration. For twenty years she taught and mentored students in various K-12 schools in the United States and taught English for two years overseas in Bahrain.

Reachone's Purpose

Throughout her teaching career she observed that many schools that serve students with learning, physical and emotional disabilities lack funding and adequate resources to effectively implement quality special education programs. Franklin initially started ReachONE Consulting Services to help parents find real solutions to support children with disabilities and has since then expanded services to build better school professional development programs. In addition to consulting, she is public speaking and publishing books that will address education and mental health issues in children and women.
